Late Life

Tesla was now 78 and he created the death beam to end the war.  Tesla says that this weapon is only a defensive weapon also called a “peace beam” he invented this to try to stop Nazis’ intention of trying to kill his family back in Yugoslavia. This I believe was the last invention Tesla created.

One evening in 1937 as Tesla was trying to cross the street he was hit by a taxi.  He lay motionless on the ground then he got back up and walk slowly back to his room where he collapsed on the bed. Other sources say that he had suffered from three broken ribs and some bruises.

For Tesla’s last days, people say that he was sad and that all day he would just feed pigeons.

On January 8, 1943 Nikola Tesla died alone in his hotel suite at 85 years
